Madras cafe is the upcoming political spy thriller movie. Earlier the movie was named Jaffna which is named after a Sri Lankan town.The movie is directed by Shoojit Sircar and produced by John Abraham and Ronnie Lahiri. Earlier Shoojit Sircar gave a hit movie Vicky Donor (2012). The movie was loved by the viewers. Now we hope this movie will also proved to be good.

The story of the movie is based on terrorism. The shooting of the movie was done in India and Sri Lanka. The movie is against the background of 1990s Sri Lankan Civil War. Indian Intelligence Agency RAW appointes there special Indian Army officer, Vikram Singh (John Abraham) to administrate underhanded operation in Sri Lanka. When he was travelling to a island with the goal of disorganizing not obeying groups at war he discovered a more large problem. He meets a journalist there (Nargis Farkari) who narates him the truth about the war and alos reveals the conclusion in the plan.
